To allow the Cake House the time to prepare and design a cake for your special occasion, do get in touch as early as possible to ensure availability. If ordering a fruit cake, please allow at least 3 months to give the cake time to mature.

The Cake House is happy to give an estimate of costs if you have any ideas, or to advise what can be achieved within your budget.

On confirmation of your order, a non-refundable deposit is required. The balance for wedding cakes is payable one month before the date the cake is needed. Please note that wedding cakes will not be made available if your payment is not received in time.

All cheques are to be made payable to Sherry Hostler.

The Cake House can provide many flavours for cakes and fillings - traditional rich fuit cake, chunky chocolate, classic sponge, and a whole lot in between.

The Cake House will deliver and set up your cake without additional charges if your venue is within the local area* However, if the venue is further afield a small fee is charged to cover fuel costs.

If you decide to collect your cake, please note that Sherry Hostler or The Cake House will not be liable for any damage to the cake once it has left The Cake House premises.

Once your cake has been delivered and set up, Sherry Hostler or The Cake House will not be liable for any loss or damage to the cake caused by third parties.

If you are storing your cake before it is eaten, make sure it is in a cool room, away from sunlight.

Cake Stands are available to hire from The Cake House.

*Free delivery within a 5 mile radius. If travelling further afield, there is a small charge to cover petrol costs and time (round trip).
